It is 5am, your alarm clock goes off, reluctantly you hit the snooze button multiple times, promising yourself that tomorrow you are going to start that morning routine.


On the way to the office, you walk past the gym and wonder how do these people find time to workout, telling yourself that beauty comes in all sizes. 


At work, you realize again you didn't pack anything for lunch, and grab something from the vending machine and quickly eat it at your desk, thinking to yourself, "When am I going to get my life together?" 


You reach home that day only to realize you should have gotten groceries, but it is ok you will just order a pizza, you have a whole night of binge tv watching ahead of you, and like most nights, you will just fall asleep in front of the television, wake up a couple of times during the night to scroll and head to bed, ready to repeat the same day tomorrow.

For many we live in constant movement, always focused on the next task, we evaluate someone's success based on how busy they are. We put our health on hold, fall into a we will get to it when we can mentality, and abuse not only our bodies but our relationship with food. It seems to be working until.....

It will look different for everyone. However, when our mind and body is not in alignment, this will manifest in the physical world..... mental illness, physical disease..... 


The mind body connection comes from consistent, daily little shifts that over time compound into a hybrid of physical, mental, and spiritual health. These things like anything else are just as easy not to do as they are to do. When we choose to do these daily practices, not only does it allow us to live more aligned with our purpose, but it also prepares us for times of impact and unrest.

Let's take a peak into these daily practices that solidify our mind and body connection:


Practice Gratitude


Before your feet even hit the floor, you can already set the tone for your day. How? By getting in the mindset of gratitude. Being in a state of gratitude will make you a magnet for other miracles during your day. This mental gratitude practice will set you up for your morning routine. 


Create a powerful morning routine


I describe the morning routine as an opportunity to hit the reset button before you start your day. This is your time, what will you do with it?

Meditation 


Meditation is a practice that allows you to focus on your breath and be in the moment and train your mind to have control over it's emotions. Mediation has become increasingly popular among entrepreneurs and high level executives, and should be part of everyone's morning practice.


Journaling


I use journaling as a vehicle to get really intentional with my goals, and as a passage of a conversation with myself. You may also use journaling to write you goals and affirmations down daily. 


Movement 


People who exercise daily even for as little as 30 minutes, will benefit from an enormous sense of well-being. They feel more energetic throughout the day, sleep better at night, have sharper memories, and feel more positive about themselves and their lives. Stretching is also vital, and it allows us to release any tension that is in our bodies, and keeps stale energy from residing in our bodies. 





Consume High Vibe Foods


Consume high vibe, high alkalinity foods. Whenever you are going to eat, ask yourself if what you are consuming is moving you closer to goals are away from your goals. Eating the right foods will keep you full of energy and clarity. Eating high energy foods help us reach higher consciousness and better connects us with our higher source.


Unplug 


Unplug, choose a time at night and turn off all cellular devices and again focus on things that bring you joy. Don't turn your phone on again till the next morning after your morning routine. This will also set you up for better sleep. Set your phone to turn on the next morning with a personalized alarm, something fun like, "Good morning you bad ass" and with an affirming statement. I highly recommend you have several of these alarms that ring all day, they may just come at a time that you need a pick me up.

Grow your vision and purpose 


Having a strong mind and body connection, will lead you to have a clearer vision and purpose. Having a powerful vision and purpose that sets your soul on fire will allow you to vibrate at a higher frequency, and vibrating at a higher vibration will be the best protection you can have especially during times of unrest and impact. 


Why do we live healthy lifestyles and create daily habits that may seem unimportant in the moment. It creates a mind and body connection that makes us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually aligned, and that makes us unstoppable, regardless of what is happening around us.
