We all know how challenging it can be to stick to our plans and start or finish a new project, especially when there are so many distractions and there's no clear plan. It has happened to all of us at some point that we tent to become extremely overwhelmed and we start hesitating of our own abilities to get things done, which is a HUGE mistake and affects the image we have of us. 

If you're part of the population that is currently working from home or you're looking to start a new hobby or project to make the most out of your time at home while away from work, these tips will help you stay focused on all the projects you have and build up your confidence and self-esteem. 

Plan your day: 

Previously to starting your day or week, write down the results you want to get and the actionable plans necessary to accomplish them. Knowing exactly what tasks will put you closer to your goals will skyrocket your productivity, making it will be easier for you to measure your progress on the completion of your goals either short term or long term. 

By knowing what you should do and when you should do it, will also reduce the time your brain spends making small decisions, which will help you avoid mental fatigue and become laser-focused. 

Work on yourself: 

Find time in your day to read a new book, listen to a podcast from someone that can offer you great advice on your area of expertise, or go through some online training to learn a new skill. Acquiring new knowledge will help you develop new criteria on that subject you thought you already knew a lot about, will make you curious and will encourage you to start a debate of ideas with friends a family. 

Reinventing yourself will make you more confident and it will positively impact the way you approach others, you will be more spontaneous when talking to your friends and family and, when doing businesses, you'll easily position yourself as an expert of your industry, closing a sale will be seen more like you offering to help as an expert, rather than you begging people to buy from you. 

Grow your network: 

Reach out to new and interesting people over social media, take the time to get to know them, spread the so-needed positivity and share ideas and advice for improvement. Remember repetition is key if you want to develop your skills to the max, so if you are currently learning something new, make yourself available for discussion with like-minded people that can stretch out your point of view and give you access to valuable insight. That constant exchange of information will reinforce your knowledge and will prepare you to claim your spot in the world as an expert. 

One of the best advice you will hear from successful people is 'PICK YOUR CIRCLE WISELY'. If you want to create new results in your life, you need to be fully aware of the impact the conversations you engage in, and the people you get to relate to, have on you. These two will directly affect your perception of life and the way you make your decisions. If what you want is to become a leader, you have to go and seek advice from someone you see as a leader and role model, so that way you start understanding what will be required to get to that position, and ultimately you will be able to take a shortcut on your path to your goals.

This is not meant to turn you into a gym addict, but instead, to make you consider how great of an investment of your time is to exercise a couple of days a week, you will notice how boosted your energy levels get when you consistently train, at least 45 min 3 times in a week. Exercise is a great stress reliever, it makes you disciplined and improves your health and memory as well. And if that wasn't reason enough, exercising will also lift the way you look at yourself and your self-esteem, and confidence is really attractive to the opposite sex. 

Within your day, make a time block for a quick exercise session, with variations day to day so you don't get bored. The popularity of workout-from-home programs has tremendously increased, and you can easily find great resources on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for all types of training, for all types of people, whether you're a beginner or someone who is always actively working out. 

Plan your finance:

Knowing how to plan your finance will allow you to keep track of your expenses and save money for a future goal or investment. Most wealthy people have been able to master their finances and accumulate and grow wealth living only with the necessary expenses. When planning your finance, is good to have clear where your money is going to, and review if it worth it to keep spending in certain habits that are not generating you a return over money spent. 

Staying on top of your finance will help you fuel your long-term projects and will allow you to be protected in case unexpected comes to your way. Having an emergency fund will give you more space to make decisions and the flexibility of trying different paths without the worry of running out of money.
